Wimbledon : Current Projects

The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (Wimbledon) is home to the most famous & prestigious tennis tournament in the world.

Woodlands are honoured to have been chosen by Sir Robert McAlpine to design, supply & Install all of the temporary site services. The installation, which started in August 2016 has to be taken out a few weeks before the Championships begin and re-installed soon after they finish. This process has to be completed to a very sensitive time frame to enable all of the outside broadcast team,catering,and other services to arrive and depart with no delays.     

The second show court at the iconic club will have a £70million fixed and retractable roof by the  2019 Championships.
